Senior Windows System Administrator

Key requirements:

• Proven professional experience designing, implementing, and managing a large Windows Server infrastructure as Domain Administrator (all versions)
• Windows Server migration
• Experience with analysing performance issues and diagnosing Windows Server problems

Additional requirements:
• Any experience administering Linux Red Had or Azure infrastructure and/or Office 365 Administration would be a distinctive advantage.

Description:

• Administer the Windows infrastructure, being responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Windows Servers
• Manage Windows server infrastructure through multiple product lifecycle environments, from staging to production. Design and implement solutions to automate recurrent deployment tasks or procedures.
• Configure and maintain Windows Servers, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
• Assist different stakeholders with query tuning and schema refinement to increase performance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends in database technologies. Apply new techniques and trends, in-line with the overall objectives and risk tolerance of the customer
• Participate to the implementation of new projects.
Management and Reporting
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date server infrastructure, design, and Best Practices documentation.
• Coordinate with development teams to improve continuous integration processes.
• Supervise the work of external service providers intervening as/if required
