IT Solution Architect (migration) Freelance

Purpose of the Position:

The IT Solution Architect is entrusted with analysing the given requirement, outlining solution, and delivering the detailed design and implementation in collaboration with the given project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfil the IT Solution Architect role within an application migration project, providing deep solution-level understanding and overseeing the solution design process
• Supervise developers, vendors, and external partners to ensure the realization of architecture within agreed standards and conceptual designs
• Create, repository containing detailed architecture designs and related artifacts for migrated system
• Make architecture recommendations within agreed-upon standards and conceptual designs
• Ensure detailed architecture design for project, providing comprehensive documentation and guidance

Education:

• University degree in a relevant IT field

Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex architectural challenges within migration project scope
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey architectural concepts and solutions
• Ability to oversee project details while maintaining a focus on the broader solution architecture goal
• Capability to make precise architecture recommendations aligned with agreed standards and designs.
• Exceptional attention to detail in producing comprehensive architecture designs and associated artifacts

Experience Needed:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture-related roles.
• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture and project implementation.
• Exposure to various architecture subtypes such as Application, Data, Infrastructure, Network, Integration, or Security.
• Familiarity with managing architecture within project documentation processes like Detailed Solution Design
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, frameworks, methodologies and best practices such as TOGAF, C4, DA-MA, ITIL, UML, and others.
